Центральный рынок цветных металлов, основанный в Лондоне в 1877 г. для обеспечения центрального рынка большими поставками металлов из-за границы. На бирже осуществляются сделки с медью, свинцом, цинком, алюминием (все с объемами лотов/партий не менее 25 т), с оловом (минимум в 5 т) и никелем (минимум в б т). Официальные цены биржи металлов используются при заключении долгосрочных контрактов производителями и потребителями всего мира. Сделки на бирже металлов включают фьючерсные (futures) и опционные (options) контракты. Все сделки гарантируются Лондонской клиринговой палатой (London Clearing House).
